Sharon ordered that the construction of the security barrier, that could have prevented a bomber from reaching Beersheva, be pushed forward. Work is expected to move ahead at 5 kilometers per week on the fence.
The first section of 32 kilometer is expected to be complete by October, with the 26 kilometers that would block bombers from the Hebron Hills to be complete not before next summer.
