On Sunday night in Kiev, Ukraine, two Jewish students their 20s were badly beaten and stabbed by several skinheads, critically injuring one and lightly wounding the other.
Israeli sources say the motives were anti-Semitic. The Jewish Agency released a statement noting the rise in anti-Semitic acts in the Ukraine.
Ukranian officials deny motives were anti-Semitic, claiming the boys provoked drunk Ukranians, not skinheads as they originally reported. |
