The IDF spokesman's office announced Monday that the next expulsion of Israeli Jews from their homes will be eleven Jewish families living in the marketplace of Hebron, the city in which the Biblical Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as well as Matriarchs Sarah and Rebecca, are believed to be buried.
The High Court of Justice ruled for the expulsion, after the State filed a suit against the families. The spokesman said Israel has been committed since 2003 to evacuating Jews who "illegally infiltrated." The date of the evacuation is to be decided by the government, and is expected to be before the end of the year.
