Attorney General Menahem Mazuz has decided not to press charges against a group of Jewish extremists who carried out an ancient death curse ceremony against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, the Justice Ministry said Tuesday.
The decision by Israel's top law enforcement official was made after determining that the ceremony was an appeal to God and not to mankind, so did not legally constitute incitement to violence, according to a letter that deputy state attorney Shai Nitzan sent to MK Ran Cohen (Yahad).
