The Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas said Wednesday that the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza must be a part of the "great Jihad" for building a Palestinian state, adding that Palestinians will never accept a state with Israeli settlements, their capital will be Jerusalem, and they won't settle for anything less than all 1967 land.
Abbas included that he wished Arafat would be able to see the "fruits of a 40 year struggle", and "for the first time in Israeli racist settlement history the Palestinian dawn is rising."
