Fate of Gaza synagogues to be decided Sunday

The High Court of Justice will rule on Sunday whether the synagogues of Gush Katif will be razed, while throughout the country activists are scurrying to hand out leaflets calling on Jews to pray for the houses of worship.

The handouts criticize the Israeli government harshly for planning to leave "no hint of Torah or Jewish life in the areas?where thousands of Jews had prayed," also noting that their plan to use bulldozers and explosive to destroy the synagogues is "something that has never been seen in the history of Israel."
