An Israeli plane filled with some 15 tons of donated emergency supplies for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Mississippi and Louisiana, will leave for the former Big Easy on Thursday.

It took the Bush Administration a full week of deliberations to allow supplies -- as well as volunteer Israeli divers to help victims trapped within flooded homes -- to arrive from Israel.
