In a recent diplomatic meeting with the United States, France, and the United Nations, Israel brought up concerns that the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) is collaborating with the Hizbullah.
Israel is lobbying to have the size of UNIFIL reduced, and their policies - among them, their consideration of equivalency between the IDF and the Hizbullah - reevaluated. Israel does not want UNIFIL to be dismantled, rather for it to be reduced in size until Lebanon realizes it doesn't need the group.
