AG Mazuz to look into Sharon's fundraising for primaries

Attorney General Menachem Mazuz said Tuesday that he intends to examine complaints made against Sharon for allegedly taking illegal donations for his Likud primaries campaign.
The donations that were raised by American Jews at a New York dinner in support of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon were transferred to an ultra-Orthodox non-profit organization, according to a Channel 10 report on Tuesday evening.
According to the report, the organization, which has a branch in Bnei Brak, runs a synagogue and a yeshiva in New York.
