To evade the Israeli cabinet's ruling against the IDF destroying synagogues in evacuated settlements, soldiers buried the Sa-Nur synagogue in sand. The burial of the synagogue in Sa-Nur was the final step to the Israeli pullout in northern Samaria. Israeli troops have pulled out completely.
