The husband of Israel's richest woman, Shari Arison, was sentenced to six months in prison Thursday, after being convicted of sexual harassment and indecent acts against two women.
The sentencing came two months after a Tel Aviv magistrate found Ofer Glazer, married to the billionaire heiress of the late Carnival Corp. Cruise lines founder Ted Arison, guilty of kissing and fondling a prospective tenant against her will. He was also convicted of groping a nurse he hired to take care of his wife.
The court also fined Glazer 10,000 shekels and ordered him to pay 15,000 shekels to each of the victims. Glazer has maintained his innocence, with Arison standing by her husband throughout the trial.
