On Thursday, Zacharia Zubeidi, the head of Al-Aqsa Brigades in Jenin announced that the 7-month old "calm" agreed upon is over, in response to Samer Saadi's, a senior commander in the Al-Alqsa Brigades, death. Saadi died early Thursday when firing at IDF forces who counterattacked and killed him. "We will not sit back - we will respond to Israel's breaches. We gave diplomacy a number of chances, but the 'calm' died with Samer Saadi. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' response will take place everywhere; in Israel as well. The struggle will continue."
