A minor earthquake hit Israel just west of the Jordan early Monday but no injuries were immediately reported, police said.
The tremor measured 4.3 on the Richter scale, causing beds to shake in the West Bank town of Jericho. The epicenter of the quake was in the Israeli city of Beit Shean in the northern Jordan Valley.
