"Armed Palestinians released two men on Tuesday after holding them in captivity since last week," the Jerusalem Post reports:
The two men, from Gaza, were accused of collaborating with Israel, Army Radio reported.
Before the men were released they were each shot in the legs by their captors, as punishment.
As Opinion Journal notes: "This just goes to show how much progress the Palestinians have made. We're old enough to remember the dark old days when they'd shoot 'collaborators' to death." |
