On Wednesday, a U.S. embassy official met with an Israeli foreign ministry official to discuss exactly how a US made helicopter sold to Israel in the mid-70s was found carting Columbian drugs. Apparently, the U.S. choppers are now serving non-kosher purposes in the drug mafias of Columbia. This is the second incident in recent weeks that has put a fire under the U.S.-Israeli relations, the first incident coming after several hundred U.S. night vision goggles sold to Israel were lost and not reported to the States.
