Israeli aircraft launched missiles Thursday at a staging ground militants used to fire rockets into Israel, but no one was injured, according to the army and Palestinian security officials.
The strike occurred near the town of Khan Younis. The army said it was aiming at two targets in the area.
Israel stepped up attacks against Palestinian militants following a suicide bombing that killed five Israelis in the coastal town of Netanya on Monday.
