Jpost news has reported that Israel's police force is to advise the French on riot control.
Israel's Internal Security Minister, Gideon Ezra and Police Inspector, General Moshe Karadi met with French officials in Paris on Sunday. High-level talks focused on the recent violent riots in France.
Three days of "classified meetings" are to take place in which Israeli officials will advise and train French police in riot control techniques.
The Israel Police is considered a world expert in riot control and counter-terrorism. "We have experience in controlling riots and maintaining public order from the Palestinian intifada and the disengagement from the Gaza Strip," a senior officer explained."
