Palestinian authorities briefly evacuated a hospital in Nablus on Sunday after discovering a car packed with explosives parked outside.
Palestinian security forces neutralized the explosives, and staff and patients returned to the hospital. There were no reports of injuries.
It was not immediately known who owned the vehicle or who placed it in the courtyard outside the Rafidia hospital. The car was covered in a tarpaulin when it was discovered.
Last week, Palestinian authorities discovered a car bomb near Bethlehem, in Judea and Samaria, and tipped off Israeli police, who blew up the vehicle harmlessly.
The AP contributed to this report. |
