Two Palestinian teens carrying bombs that planned to carry out a terror attack in Jerusalem were arrested Monday near the security barrier on the outskirts of the southeastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Har Homa, police said.
The two youths were detained after a security team spotted them near the fence and chased them.
During the chase, the suspects hurled a firebomb at the security men, who fired in the air to stop them.
No one was reported wounded in the late-morning incident.
Two medium-sized pipe bombs, two firebombs, two knives, and a Hamas flag were found in their possession.
The 16 and 17-year-old residents of Dehaishe refugee camp near the city of Bethlehem, told investigators that they planned to carry out a terror attack in Jerusalem, the police said.
