Israeli forces shot and injured two Palestinians near the Judean city of Hebron on Monday after one of them threw a fire bomb at an Israeli bus, the army said.

The army said a patrol spotted the Palestinian throwing the firebomb and shot him and another person with him. Palestinian witnesses said the second injured person was a female bystander.

The army said the two injured Palestinians were evacuated for further medical care. It was not clear how badly injured they were.

The bus was damaged, but no passengers were hurt, the army said.
