The Palestinians fired five Qassam rockets at the western Negev Thursday morning. The "Red Dawn" alert system detected the launching of the rockets.
Later it was reported one of the rockets landed in a strategic area near the southern town of Ashkelon. The Qassams landed in open areas. No injuries or damages were reported in the attack.
Meanwhile, the IDF confirmed three Palestinians were killed and another one was injured during army operations in the West Bank town of Nablus. According to IDF sources, the Palestinians hurled Molotov cocktails at troops, who responded with fire.
