By: Associated Press
Published: April 20, 2006

Israeli artillery exploded near a house in a Bedouin community in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday but nobody was injured, Palestinian security officials said.

The Israeli army said it was unaware of the incident.

Israel has fired artillery barrages into northern Gaza for nearly two weeks in response to Palestinian rocket fire targeting Israel.
