A loud explosion rocked the Jebaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza on Monday, witnesses and security officials said.

There were no details on the cause of the blast, and no immediate reports of injuries.

The Israeli army said it wasn't involved in the incident. The army frequently carries out airstrikes against Palestinian militants and typically claims responsibility for such actions.
