Israeli playwright Yehoshua Sobol, who until now was identified with the Israeli Left, has come out on recent days saying publicly in various radio interviews "I was wrong when I thought that withdrawing to border lines would bring peace."

Today Sobol went another step and in an interview on Army Radio this afternoon he slammed Israelis who call for an immediate cease-fire.

"Anyone who supports an immediate cease-fire is essentially supporting Hezbollah and it is beyond me how anyone from the Left can come out supporting such a group," Sobol explained.
