Israeli army chief of staff Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz was given a clean bill of health after his third trip to the hospital for stomach pains, officials at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital said Tuesday.
Halutz first complained of stomach pain last week and went for a check up on Friday. He returned to the hospital on Sunday and Monday for additional checks. Hospital staff said they could not find anything wrong with Halutz, who has directed Israel's three-week-long battle against Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon.
Hospital staff said Halutz' doctors recommended that he make sure he eats regular meals. |
