Hezbollah guerrillas killed two Israeli soldiers with an anti-tank missile in south Lebanon Monday, a few hours after a third soldier died by sniper fire in the same area, the Israeli army said.
The soldiers were killed in the area of Bint Jbail, a Hezbollah stronghold about three kilometers (two miles) from the border which has seen some of the heaviest combat in the 27-day war. The deaths brought to 61 the number of soldiers killed since July 12. |
