A 30-year-old Palestinian man was killed on Thursday by a stray bullet fired from an Israel Defense Forces tank near the Gaza-Egypt border at Rafah, a Palestinian security official said.
The official said the man had left his house to leave for Rafah and was killed by a stray bullet.
The IDF said it would check the report.
Earlier Thursday, three Qassam rockets were fired at Israel. Two landed adjacent to the Gaza security fence and one landed south of Ashkelon. No injuries or damage were reported in the Qassam strikes.
The IDF responded by firing at the rocket-launching sites. |
