The Jewish TV Network, the first broadband network to feature a mix of entertainment and news channels celebrating the Jewish experience, is streaming the first ever live Kol Nidre service, the holiest Jewish prayer recited on the eve of Yom Kippur, Friday, September 21, from Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the oldest synagogue in Los Angeles. The webcast, which starts at 4:45 pm Pacific Time (7:45 pm ET) allows Jews from around the world the opportunity to participate in Kol Nidre together with those attending the service in Los Angeles.

"Yom Kippur is the most observed Jewish Holiday of the year. Now everyone, no matter what religion or denomination, will be able to observe the most beautiful and provoking traditions of the Jewish people in a completely new and untraditional way," said Jay Sanderson, CEO of JTN Productions. "We are connecting people throughout the world who are either unable to attend Synagogue or are interested in learning more about the Jewish traditions.?

JTN is also celebrating the High Holidays with additional entertaining and informative Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur content. From cooking tips to children's entertainment, Israel news to home crafts, the broadband network spotlights the Jewish New Year with programming for all ages. Now online users can prepare for the holiday by learning new twists on their favorite dish, hearing renowned Rabbis discuss the importance of the holiday and how to give forgiveness, and even discovering fun crafts the whole family can enjoy.
