Scandinavian flags are trendy, but American and Israeli flags are perennial favorites for Muslim pyrotechnics, suitable for homes or in the streets.

Ahmed Schluter, 31, makes flags to burn, a booming business among Europe's fast-growing muslim population. The Danish flag is in vogue these days, especially popular among the "cosmopolitan fanatics" that he sees as his primary target market.



Herr Schluter was not available for comment.
