Two separate Israeli strikes at Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip killed four people and wounded several others, Palestinian hospital officials said.

In the first attack, Israel launched an airstrike in Gaza City at a group of militants who had an anti-tank missile near the Karni cargo crossing between Gaza and Israel, the army said. The airstrike killed one person, hospital officials said.

Minutes later, the army attacked a group of militants who had just launched a homemade rocket into Israel, the army said. The attack, near the northern town of Beit Hanoun, killed three people, hospital officials said.

In another airstrike, an Israeli warplane fired a missile early Tuesday at a bridge in northern Gaza, Palestinian security officials and the military said.

The bridge, near the town of Beit Hanoun, was the second bridge in the area attacked in as many days. The military said the purpose was to prevent Palestinian militants from transporting rockets into areas where they are launched at Israel.

No one was hurt.
