Hizbullah continued to fire rocket barrages at northern Israel on Wednesday afternoon. 130 rockets have landed as of 7 pm local time. Rocket impacts were reported in the Tiberias area, Safed, Rosh Pina, and Kiryat Shmona. Most of the rockets landed in open territory and no one was reported wounded.

Earlier, Ma'alot was hit by rockets a mere two hours after a heavy barrage hit the Haifa area, Karmiel, and Acre, wounding 16 people, one seriously. A total of 68 rockets were fired at Israel on Wednesday.

A Kiryat Bialik resident sustained serious wounds when a rocket landed next to his car.

MDA crews treated four other people in Kiryat Bialik who were lightly wounded, and a number of people suffering from shock. All of the wounded were evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

Also near Haifa, a rocket landed between two houses, causing minor damage. A school was hit as well. Several other cars were also damaged in the rocket attack.

In Karmiel, several people were lightly wounded when a rocket hit a home. The structure was damaged by the impact.

At least one fire broke out as the result of the rocket explosions. Rockets also landed in open areas in Acre but caused no wounded or damage.

On Tuesday, Daa Abbas, a 15 year-old teenage girl from the village of Mgar, was killed by a direct rocket strike on her home.

Daa was killed while watching television with her mother and 17 year-old brother.

"The missile entered the living room ceiling, struck the floor, and continued straight into the television room and struck her," her uncle, Ahmed Abbas, said.

The war in the north is entering its third week, two weeks after the kidnapping of two IDF soldiers on the northern border.

So far, 24 soldiers and 18 Israeli civilians have been killed.
