I would like to tell you, Mr. Prime Minister, head of this government of expulsion, head of the minority government: You are now supposed to deal with today's attack in the Carmel Market, but it will be a waste of time.
Because our enemies understand the language of retreat, they understand that you reflect and project impermanence.
They will see these pictures of the uprooting, and they will understand that the Jewish presence here is merely temporary. So, Mr. Prime Minister, concentrate all the Jews in Tel Aviv, build a wall around it and around the Carmel Market -- and stop wasting money as you did until now on settlements and sending people to the hilltops, until you suddenly changed your philosophy and became the leader of the left....
Concentrate together all the Diaspora-minded Jews, gather the wandering Jews who don't know what sovereignty is, or what [Jewish] government is, all those who don't know what it means to be attached to land -- and concentrate all of them in Tel Aviv, take all the evacuees and bring them to the Carmel Market, and this way at least you'll be able to guarantee the Carmel Market and the rest of Tel Aviv....
It is a disgrace. This is a government that shows all the Arab enemies that we are merely transient here, and that we're leaving, while you, the Arabs, are attached to the land, and no one will ever move you out, you're here - while we the Jews, the Yahudim [pronounced as Arabs do], are on wheels, are on their way out. The pictures on television of Arik Sharon uprooting the Jews - this is what will remain in the collective memory, and all the rest is meaningless.
