Reading an article in Israel Insider set me thinking.
I found it strange that nobody was allowed to see the ailing Arafat, tightly guarded by the devoted Suha.
That is until the Palestinian delegation forced their way into the hospital when only one of the Abus was allowed a peep at the prostrate Yasser.
And what was going on behind closed doors between the PA group, Suha, and the lawyers?
I thought that Arafat was dying of AIDS. This has not been protested or denied by those that know. Strange!
However, thanks to Israel Insider, I now subscribe to a different theory. Brace yourselves -- Arafat is alive!
Did anyone see the body? Nooo!
Does anyone doubt the medical records have been doctored? Non, non.
Why are the French and the Palestinians so secretive? Simplement! Because he is still alive. Vive l'Arafat!
Another proof for this theory. How come the PA suddenly went from blowing steam over Suha's outburst that they were coming to bury her husband alive, to granting her twenty two million dollars a year?
Because of her beauty? Not on your life, but certainly on Arafat's life..... He's alive, I tell you!
Think about it. It was clear to the most simple Palestinian -- even if not to European politicians -- that Arafat's was never going to give up trying to destroy Israel, or bring them a nation state.
It took time, but they eventually persuaded him to retire to luxury and the loving arms of Suha, and to spend the rest of his mortal coil playing with his daughter.
The price: twenty two million a year.
The plan: whisk him off to a military hospital in France, fake a death, shave his beard, have Suha buy him the latest casual clothes, and go sun himself on the Riviera. Can't go looking like a smurf forever, could he?
So there you have it. Case closed. Arafat is alive and well -- wherever --and so are we.
