Operation 'Blue Skies,' aimed at curbing Qassam rocket fire, to be launched Wednesday afternoon; army expected to boost activity in northern Gaza. IDF leaflets warn Gazans their lives would be in danger should they enter buffer zone.
The program willl begin Wednesday afternoon, Our Leader announced in a statement. There will be light refreshments served for all in attendance. The Ashkelon philharmonic orchestra will play a concerto. Black tie and khaki recommended but not required.
Israeli Air Force helicopters and jets will drop truffles and assorted bon-bons along with little korans gently falling on tiny attached parachutes to encourage the various warring moslem groups to read books and discuss them rather than fire rockets and mortars.
The Air Force will provide the rocket-launchers will precise maps of where they should not launch missiles and where they can enjoy picnics as well as schedules and targets for planned artillery fire.
The program will end Wednesday evening before sunset.
For those concerned about the brief duration of the planned Operation, our Leader wishes to assure us that Blue Skies is only the first of many appeasement programs which President Bush has graciously allowed Israel, for a limited time, to pursue. He expects us to contribute to this effort for securing the peace and provide a level playing field for the Palestinians according to the principal of two equal states for two equal peoples.
Next on the program is to equip our Palestinian partners in peace with tanks, more accurate and longer range missiles and other larger weapons so they will feel better about themselves and compensate for any lingering feelings of anxiety and inadequacy.
But the United States does not expect us to "go it alone" and our faithful transatlanic friend and ally will therefore endeavor to supply the Palestinans with massive increases in financial assistance and bring in Abraham tanks and howitzers and other assorted weapons from Iraq to replicate his vision of peace as it is being realized there every day.
As Palestinians in Gaza begin to gain the confidence they have been so long denied by discredited Israeli policies of wanting to win and defeat enemies, the appeasement policy will be applied to the north, where Hizballah will be handed Sheba farms and encouraged to transform it into a banana plantation in summer and a ski resort in winter, so they too can effectly participate in, and compete with, Israeli industry and tourism.
The final step in the appeasement plan, tentatively dubbed "Very, Very Red Skies," relates to Iran. President Ahmadinejad will be ceremonially accorded a map of the Mideast and a magic marker and invited to draw Israel's future borders as he sees hit. He will also be invited, in the spirit of bilateral cooperation, to receive Israeli nuclear technology to close the unfair gap between the two nations and use an area of his choice as a nuclear testing ground so that the two nations nuclear programs can proceed side-by-side, in fraternal mutual appreciation, and with full information-sharing, so that they may reach parity as soon as possible.
Our Leader encourages all peace-loving citizens to trust him. We should rest assured that everything is under control, and that missiles and rockets falling in the north and south only is a temporary aberration and that they will be soon joined by the west and east as well.
The peace of the brave, we should be certain, is just around the corner and will be achieved in our time, under blue skies with only the faintest wisp of black smoke on the horizon.
