Amateur Hour Continues
By Yuval Zaliouk   August 16, 2006

The antics of this bunch of amateurs now running the Israeli government would be laughable, if the situation were not so tragic and fraught with danger.

Hezbollah declares victory. Hundreds of thousands of human shield civilians are flooding back to South Lebanon, among them thousands of armed Hezbollah terrorists.

Syria's Asad makes a bellicose victory speech calling for the elimination of Israel.

Iran's Ahmedinejad continues with his threats to annihilate the "Zionist Entity."

Kofi Anan says that it will take weeks if not months before a UN force can reach Lebanon. It is fast becoming clear that the UN Resolution is another international swindle on a monumental scale.

And what does Amir Peretz, the amateur Israeli Defence Minister have to say?

He declares that Israel is now ready to resume negotiations with Syria.

His small mind does not even begin to comprehend the enormity of the situation.

Any suggestion of negotiations now can only be interpreted by Syria as a total capitulation.

Asad is do doubt sleeping calmly tonight, a peaceful smile on his face.

It's way past time for the people of Israel to get rid of its sorry excuse for a government of appeasing Chamberlains with the strategic grasp of chambermaids.
